I have been bowling for more than 8 years. I grew up in a family of bowlers. Though we were always at the bowling center, I never became interested in the game until I started working at Sequoia Pro Bowl at the age of 16. I would practice before, during, and after work just trying to get better . Spending, a lot of time, with Rod at Singerz Shop has been the best experience of my bowling career. The time he takes educating people on the game and their equipment is what he does best!

I have been bowling for over 41 years. Both of my parents bowled in a league back when I was a kid. Hung out at the lanes with them and just figured I would give it a try. Figured it couldn’t be that hard. The rest is history! I fell in love with this game and have been bowling ever since. Trying to chase down that new high game/series never ends. I guess if I ever do shoot a 900 series I can retire from the sport with that hand. I can’t get any better than that. I told my wife that if I ever shoot a 300 left handed, that I was going to take up golf so I could try and get a hole in one. Not too many people in the World can say that they have a 300 with both hands and a hole in one.

I am currently Westerville South’s Varsity Bowling Coach. I am also a Youth coach and a USBC Silver Certified Instructor.
I am a member of the USBC and also part of the CET committee for the Central Ohio USBC. (coaching, Education, Training) We put on classes for people who want to receive their Level One certifications to allow them to coach.
